Hensel Phelps, the General Contractor / Construction Manager (GC/CM) selected by the Port of Seattle (the Port) for the S Concourse Evolution (SCE) project at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), requests bids from responsible, qualified, experienced firms for the scopes of work described in this Bid Package. Hensel Phelps intends to award subcontracts utilizing the process as authorized by RCW 39.10.380. This request for bids is expressly conditioned upon the Port and GC/CM agreeing on a Maximum Allowable Construction Cost (MACC) and entering into a GC/CM Contract. If a MACC is not agreed upon, or if a GC/CM Contract is not executed between the Port and the GC/CM, neither the GC/CM nor any Bidder or Subcontractor shall have any claim against Hensel Phelps or the Port whatsoever. All costs incurred by firms participating in this bid package process shall be borne by the participating firms. Hensel Phelps and the Port reserve the right to waive any deficiency, informality or irregularity in any Bid received.
