Attention Partners: This is a Request for Quotes notification for the SCWQP: Tunnel Effluent Pump Station-Ballard Conveyance (Rebid) quotes-due date, February 21, end of business day.

The Lane Construction Corporation is bidding on this project and is seeking quotes from subcontractors and suppliers on portions of the work.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Construction of the Tunnel Effluent Pump Station (TEPS), Facility Building, and associated site and right-of-way improvements at and adjacent to the TEPS Site;

• Construction of roughly 2,200 LF of conveyance piping to include 1,932 LF of 60” diameter fiber reinforced polymer pipe installed using micro-tunneling, a diversion structure, maintenance shafts (holes), and associated site and right of way improvements at the Ballard Conveyance Site.

• Demolition and reconstruction of flow diversion structures to allow flow into the storage tunnel at the 11th Ave Shaft Site, Fremont Shaft Site, 3rd Ave Shaft Site, and Wallingford Conveyance Site.
This project consists of earthwork/grading, clearing, trucking of materials, drainage works, asphalt paving, concrete work, pavement related hauling, geotextiles, erosion/seeding, Landscaping, Cladding, Micro-tunneling, Electrical, Mechanical (Piping/HVAC/Plumbing), Gates, Doors, Fencing, Demolition, Ground Improvements, Miscellaneous Steel, Reinforcing Steel Materials, Saw & Seal Concrete, Paving Joints, SIP, Surveying, Janitorial Cleaning, Clearing and Grubbing, pavement markings, traffic signs, permanent signs, MOT, excavation, drainage structures and pipe materials, miscellaneous flatwork, aggregates/rip rap, concrete ready-mix, temporary barrier, utilities, permanent barrier and many other scopes of work and opportunities.

Lane Construction welcomes participation from Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) certified MBEs and WBEs on this built-build project. The Lane Construction Corporation is willing to break out parts of this contract’s work items into economically feasible units to facilitate MBE and WBE subcontractor participation. Lane Construction is willing to negotiate in good faith with interested MBEs and WBEs subcontractors, and Lane will not reject MBEs and WBEs, as being unqualified without sound reasons based on thorough investigation of their abilities. Lane Construction will work with minorities on issues related to bonding, insurance, lines of credit and equipment. If you are not a MBEs and WBEs subcontractor but can provide MBE and WBE participation (with 2nd-tier MBE and WBE subcontractors or MBE and WBE suppliers participation) in your quote, that would be greatly appreciated. DBE goal for this project is set at 10% MBE & 6% WBE
