Contract description:
South Whidbey Middle School/High School modernization and upgrades bundle the scope in this phase of the project will consist of the removal and replacement of the existing siding, windows, and roofing including upgrading exterior building lighting.
This project will remove the existing roofing material in its entirety down to the existing wood deck or existing metal deck, new roofing system will be installed compliant with WSEC. Roof replacement will include adding 6″ of insulation and scuppers and downspouts will be included in this project.
This project will replace the existing exterior wall cladding systems. Where feasible the existing wall systems will compliant with WSEC, and a continuous air barrier and insulation system will be installed. This will include removal of existing wall cladding systems over the wood and metal framed areas of the building, and encapsulation of existing stucco where occurs over concrete masonry areas of the building. Existing windows will be replaced with window systems compliance with WSEC.

Opportunities Specific to Absher’s Available Scope:
Structural steel supply, structural steel install, GWB, non structural steel framing, rebar, wood deck, rough carpentry, select demo, damp proofing. Absher will also be taking bids for fencing and final cleaning.
