Contract description:
The Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe (SBIT) is soliciting proposals for qualified contractors to construct a residential duplex on the Shoalwater Bay Indian reservation located in Pacific County, Washington as described in Scope of Work provided on page 5. All work must meet federal, state, and local standards, laws, specifications, and codes.
Scope of Work:
The Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe is seeking the services of a qualified construction company to construct a residential duplex located on the Shoalwater Bay Indian Reservation in Pacific County, Washington. The Tribe requests two separate cost estimates to be included in proposal. It is recommended to bid on both Option A and Option B, but is not required. Cost estimate options to include: Option A: To include complete build per specifications, including final site prep. Option B: To include a Dried in Shell (final site prep, foundation, concrete work, framing) There is an existing septic system and water onsite and power is available but two new meters are required. The previous home at site burned down.
The residential duplex is intended for use as a rental, so please include budget friendly interior materials in your bid. The Tribe is currently following IDC 2018 building codes, so please bid in accordance to IDC 2018 building codes. Permits for this project will be acquired by the Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe. The project consists of furnishing all required materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and personnel to perform necessary labor.
