Manson Construction Co. was founded in 1905 as a small pile driving business supporting the early development of Seattle’s waterfront. Manson Construction is a Heavy Civil Marine Contractor, our expertise is Pile Driving and Dredging performed mostly along US Coastlines. Approximately 70% of our contracts are with Federal Government Agency Clients, primarily with US Army Corps of Engineers and Navy Facilities Engineering Command. Manson also contracts with Local Government Agencies and Private Owners in support of Infrastructure and Waterfront Property improvements, and Fuel Distribution.

As a Marine Contractor, many contracts held by Manson have requirements for a USL&H Policy.  Please contact Manson’s SBLO for more information about this type of Insurance Coverage and Manson’s expectations.

Bonds are requested at the time a subcontract is issued, regardless of the amount of time before the subcontractor will be required onsite for performance of their subcontract.

Subcontractors and Suppliers should know that the majority of the contracts held by Manson have Domestic Product Preference (Buy America, Buy American, and Build America/Buy America). The rules vary depending on the funding source.  Manson takes compliance seriously and will provide guidance when possible.
