The Department of Defense announces Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) training and resources for the US Department of Defense and Industry
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) has created a mandatory CUI training program for DoD employees and its Industry partners.
In accordance with DoD Instruction 5200.48, paragraph 3.6(b), CUI training is mandatory for all DoD civilian and military personnel as well as contractors. This training satisfies the CUI training requirements for Industry when required by Government Contracting Activities for contracts containing CUI provisions.
The DoD Mandatory Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Training provides information on the eleven training areas for accessing, marking, safeguarding, decontrolling, and destroying CUI as well as the procedures for identifying and reporting security incidents.
