Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) is a Public Transportation Benefit Area (PTBA), defined by RCW Chapter 36.57A, providing transit service throughout Whatcom County, Washington. WTA provides fixed route, paratransit, rural dial-a-ride, on-demand, and vanpool service, as well as fixed route service into neighboring Skagit County.

The purpose of this RFP is to select the most qualified consultant to assist with the planning and implementation of a variety of Intelligent Transportation Systems for WTA. All work will be provided in accordance with WTA practices, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards, as appropriate, and all applicable FTA and/or Washington State Department of Transportation requirements.
