Contract location: Statewide

Contract description: In compliance with Senate Bill 5259 (2021), the Attorney General’s Office will contract with an institution of higher education (defined in RCW 28B.92.030) to establish the statewide Law Enforcement Use of Force Data Program. This data program will serve the important interest of increasing public trust in law enforcement through accountability and transparency. This contract shall fulfill the legislative mandate and enact the final recommendations of the AGO Law Enforcement Data Program Advisory Group, as approved by Attorney General Bob Ferguson.
