Contract description: The Washington Workforce Training & Education Coordinating Board (WTB) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. Pursuant to this Competitive Solicitation, WTB intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award an WTB Contract for WTB to purchase professional services required for the establishment of Apprenticeship Sponsorship.

The LPN Apprenticeship program is an interdisciplinary effort, the partners include the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, Labor and Industries, Workforce Board, Long -Term Care (LTC) employers, and community and technical colleges. The developing program has been a collaborative effort by the partners who have established a foundation for the apprenticeship. A key component of the implementation of the apprenticeship program is the establishment of a non-profit sponsorship organization. The Workforce Board is responsible for coordinating the establishment of the sponsor organization that will help support and represent the LTC employer partners participating in the apprenticeship program.

The Contractor will:

• Coordinate the formation of the 501c3 organization
• Operate the organization for 6 months following the establishment
• Develop a transition plan for the management and operation of the organization going forward
