PROJECT LOCATION:   Olympia

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The Washington State Office of Financial Management (OFM) is initiating this Request for Qualifications and Quotations (RFQQ) to solicit proposals from firms interested in conducting a construction cost assessment to review the existing formulas used to estimate costs for state agency capital construction projects.

This construction cost assessment will provide recommendations to ensure cost estimates accurately reflect project costs for both standard and alternative public works projects. It will ultimately result in a preliminary and final written report with justified recommendations, and updated draft files to include an Excel project cost estimator, architectural and engineering fee guidelines and an architectural and engineering fee schedule.

ESTIMATED CONTRACT TERM:  October 15, 2021 – March 31, 2023 with an option to renew the contract for up to one (1) additional term of three (3) months.

FUNDING:  Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of funding.  This amount shall not exceed Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000).
