This competitive solicitation is issued in order to assist the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration, Home and Community Services Division of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) in seeking a qualified Contractor to provide operational support for delivery of a statewide Information and
Referral (I&R) service for persons with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and their support network. The statewide assistance program is used by the public to access a comprehensive, unbiased, confidential and/or anonymous information and referral for those persons experiencing TBI. Service is provided by trained I&R Specialists and Community Resource Specialists with delivery in a variety of ways that support persons experiencing TBI with short-term assistance in linking to Long-Term Services and Supports. I&R services provided under Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 74.31 are to be updated to meet the national and state standards of the Alliance for Information
and Referral Systems (AIRS) and the requirements outlined in RCW 43.211.
