Kiewit/Stacy and Witbeck, A Joint Venture (KSW) is assembling a team to respond to the Request for Proposals issued by Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to provide Design-Build Services for the delivery of the SR-520/I-5 to Montlake Interchange I/C and Bridge Replacement Design-Build Project.  The project will replace the existing Portage Bay Bridge with a seismically stronger structure, extend SR 520’s transit/HOV system from Montlake to I-5, and the crosslake bicycle and pedestrian trail over Portage Bay. Other major work includes providing stormwater conveyance, stormwater treatment, maintaining existing WPA drainage system, utility relocation, protect sewer outflow, relocate existing lumen duct bank, replace trolly poles, landscaping, paving, mechanical ventilation fire life safety system, and reversible ramp gate system.
