Contract description:

Skanska is soliciting all interested subcontractors, as well as certified Small, Veteran, Minority & Woman owned BUSINESS ENTERPRISES for RFP 17 Anchor Bolts and Anchor Plates for Noise Wall NW2.

Skanska is hosting a non-mandatory Pre-bid meeting for RFPs 16 and 17 on Thursday, September 26, 2024, 2024 from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Here is the link to register for the meeting

This project has 5% SBE, 3% VOB, 10% MBE and 6% WBE participation goals. Skanska will select based on best value from all interested subcontractors submitting proposals, including SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firms on this project. If you are a SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firm, please indicate this with your proposal. All interested subcontractors, please indicate all lower tier SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE participation offered on your proposal as it will be evaluated with your price for best value. Skanska will assist qualified subcontractors, vendors, & suppliers in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials and/or supplies. To permit maximum participation, when feasible Skanska will review breaking out scope packages and adjusting schedules to help permit maximum participation of SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE on the project. Subcontractor may be requested to furnish a bond, if required Skanska will pay bond premium up to 1%.

About the Project
WSDOT has awarded this design-build project to Skanska that will create a dual express toll lane (ETL) system from south of the I-405/SR 522 interchange to the I-405/SR 527 interchange. This project includes new lanes, direct access ramps, interchange improvements, Stride bus rapid transit stations and related facilities, and new fish passage culverts within the project vicinity.
