SF Launcher Equipment Processing Facility -Clark Construction


Clark Construction is seeking subcontractors for a Navy Facilities Engineering Command Venti Multiple Award Construction Contract seed project.  Read more below and attend informational session virtually on June 17.  Link to register here.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

This is a 28,000 SF launcher equipment processing facility for the US Navy.   

  • The Launcher Processing Building (17,200 SF) with concrete foundation and walls and a roof structure of steel-joist with insulated standing-seam metal panels. It will include high-bay equipment processing areas, inert equipment storage, a test area and personnel support spaces. 
  • Two reinforced concrete weapons-related materials storage facilities (10,900 SF). Each will include a mechanical room and a storage space. 
  • Built-in equipment includes a pre-fabricated paint booth, pre-fabricated sandblast booth, and bridge cranes. 
  • High performance and sustainable building requirements apply. 
  • Site preparations include building demo, clearing, grubbing and logging, site cut and haul, and grading. Further, asphalt paving, concrete paving, curbs and sidewalks, bollards, landscaping, fences and gates. 
  • Environmental mitigation includes habitat protection, biological and archeological monitoring and protection or tribal trust resources and assets. 
  • Diverse Business Participation goals. 

CURRENTLY SOLICITING BIDS (Due July 1st) FOR THE FOLLOWING SCOPES – All subcontractors must have, or are pursuing CMMC Level 2 – Self.  Clark Construction expects subcontractors will need to have this in place by August when subcontract awards are likely to be awarded.   If awarded, construction is likely to start in Q4 of this year.
