Request for Proposals (RFP)
General: The University is utilizing the public works contracting procedure authorized under chapter 39.04.290 RCW, Contracts for Building Engineering Systems. Pursuant to the statute, the proposal shall include a price for the design, the specifications, the fabrication, and the installation of the system. The proposal shall be based on information provided within the RFP. The project will be managed by UW Facilities, Project Delivery Group.
Project Description: The University of Washington (University or UW) is soliciting Proposals from contractors interested in providing the design, specifications, fabrication, and installation of the Infrastructure Renewal – Fire/Life Safety (Fire panels) project. The engineer’s estimate for the project is $670,000.00.
Obtaining the RFP: A copy of the RFP with additional information about the project and the selection process will be available on August 20, 2024 via Workday Strategic Sourcing at https://university-of-washington.public-portal.us.workdayspend.com/. Any addenda issued for the RFP will be published at the same website address. If you are unable to download the RFP or addenda, you may contact the individual noted at the end of this notice.
Submittal Deadline: No later than 3:00 p.m. on September 17, 2024.
