The purpose of this RFB is for interior refresh of the Bonney Lake Library to include renovation of existing toilet rooms, renovation of meeting room including paint, wainscot, and door hardware, replacement of noted light fixtures and ceiling fans, convert hardwire whips for power and data into floor boxes where at one location, new storage casework at the circulation desk, and new paint throughout the publicly accessible portions of the library.

Schedule for work:
Project construction to be phased and building to be in continuous operation during construction with the exception of a one-week closure for painting, loud demolition, and utility outage. Design team and owner will work with Contractor selected to strategize appropriate sequencing and timeline of work including early release of long lead items, such as lighting and casework.
Contract time – Substantially complete all work under contract within six weeks from arrival of casework and long lead-time materials. Work to be performed while building is occupied and in operation.
Contractor work hours will be scheduled from Monday to Friday and between 7 AM to 6 PM. Library and Contractor will establish the one week (7 calendar days) of Library closure work during the six-week contract duration period. With the exception of the one-week closure, at least one restroom must be operational at all times during the contract duration period.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT: A mandatory site visit will be scheduled on June 8, 2022 at 9:00 AM, at the Bonney Lake Library, 18501 90th St. East, Bonney Lake, WA 98391. This site visit will take up to 60 minutes and will include a walk-through of the spaces to be renovated. Proposer is responsible for their own transportation and failure to attend these site visits will deem any subsequent proposal as non-responsive.
