Contract description: The Washington State Traffic Safety Commission is conducting a competitive solicitation to award Contracts to acquire Regional Traffic Safety Coordinators to serve as Target Zero Managers.

The Washington Traffic Safety Commission (WTSC) leads statewide efforts and builds partnerships to save lives and prevent injuries on our roadways for the health, safety, and benefit of our communities. Our small agency of 27 employees manages Washington’s behavioral traffic safety programs having direct impacts on preventing impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding, and other high-risk behaviors that lead to traffic deaths and injuries.

TZMs operate on the local level, in a network that covers the entire state. They are funded and supported by the WTSC. The TZMs build regional coalitions of partners who implement solutions to local traffic safety issues.
