On-Call Transportation Planning
Request for Proposals RFP #:2021 – 260
Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) Public Transportation Benefit Area (PTBA), defined by RCW 36.57A, providing fixed route and paratransit service throughout Whatcom County, Washington.
WTA is currently seeking proposals from firm(s) capable of providing multi-discipline Transportation Planning Services.
The initial length of the Contract will be two (2) years, and WTA may, in its discretion, extend the Contract for three (3) additional one (1) year increments.
Dates preceded by an asterisk (*) are estimated dates. Estimated dates are for information only.
Procurement Request Released – December 14
Clarification Deadline – January 5 no later than 12:00 PM PST
Submissions Due – January 27 no later than 12:00 PM PST
*Finalist In Person Interviews – February 14-18
*Notice of Intent to Award – March 1
*Estimated Award Date – March 17
*Estimated Contract Start Date – April 1
Questions pertaining to the RFP must be submitted via WTA’s procurement portal. WTA does not guarantee a response to questions submitted via phone or email, or after the clarification deadline has passed.
Proposers are required to adhere to the terms and conditions of this solicitation packet. WTA will not negotiate any aspect of the required service or contract once the Intent to Award is issued. WTA will not make any concessions for proposers who are not completely familiar with the scope or contract requirements.
