Kiewit is soliciting subcontractor bids and material quotes from Small Business Enterprise subcontractors and suppliers meeting federal acquisition requirements (FAR) small business guidelines. This Project is located at the Naval Air Station – Whidbey Island (NAS-WI). The project includes, along with all incidental related work, the construction of a two-story, approximately 27,160 SF (Primary Facility), low rise, steel-framed, support facility of the EA-18G Aircraft FRS Training program located adjacent to the existing Hangar 12 (Building 2737) within the Flight Line Security Area at this installation.

Conceptual Plans and specifications can be requested through Building Connected website (https://www.buildingconnected.com/).

Services and supplies being solicited include, but are not limited to: demolition, concrete forming, placing & finishing, structural steel, miscellaneous steel, stairs, rough carpentry, finish carpentry,, roofing, metal panels, insulation, doors & hardware, windows & glazing, interior finishes signage, moveable wall partitions, corner guards, toilet accessories, lockers, site furnishings, casework, fire protection, HVAC/Plumbing, electrical, civil earthwork, utilities,

In order to assist certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Contractors and Suppliers, we will divide items of work into smaller tasks or quantities and establish delivery and construction schedules which will permit maximum participation where feasible.

The Design-Builder in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat.252, 42 U.S. Code 2000d to 2000d-4, and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 26, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will afford Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against DBEs on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
