July 7 – Evolving DoD Contractor Cybersecurity Requirements (2022 Update) – Aliahu Bey, Totem Technologies.

Mr. Bey, CEO of Totem Technologies, a small veteran-owned prime USAF contractor, will give an overview of cybersecurity requirements in layman’s terms, describe some of the implementation challenges, and provide resources that you can use to navigate the cybersecurity landscape.

July 12-14 – Peak Proposal Prowess – A Primer for SF330 Production (3-Part Series) – Carrie Ann Williams, Andana Consulting.

In this 3-part training we’ll dissect the best practices and the proven process to prepare detailed and responsive SF330s while letting your creativity and brand come through. Using real-world feedback from Government reviewers, we’ll present a step-by-step discussion of each SF330 section, emphasizing key success factors to ensure the entire submission highlights your firm’s personnel and past performance to help you rise to the top.

July 20 – Developing a Compelling Capability Statement – Ashley Duwel, Duwel Dev LLC.

A capability statement is your business’ primary marketing tool in the federal marketplace. There are plenty of factors to consider when marketing your business to prime vendors and government agencies. Be sure your statement gives your potential buyers what they need to evaluate you as a “responsible” and qualified contractor, setting your business apart from your competitors.

July 27 – Strategies to Capture Expiring Funds and Sole Source Contracts – Jeff Cuskey, Cuskey GOVCON Consulting & Expert Witness Services.

This webinar provides an overview of federal fiscal law and regulations, socio economic program, and sole source authorities and procedures. Additionally, it provides insight into how to use these authorities to develop marketing and contracting strategies to capture the government’s fiscal year fourth quarter and expiring funds contract opportunities.

July 28 – Avoiding Contractor’s Most Common Bid Protest Mistakes – Maria Panichelli, McCarter & English.

The more competitive the federal market becomes, the more inevitable bid protests are. If you want to succeed in bid protest litigation, it is critically important that you understand the rules and regulations governing the protest process. It is also vital that you avoid the common misunderstandings and mistakes that so many contractors have and make, which can negatively impact your chances of successfully asserting or defending a protest.
