Contract description:

Provide and install all Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment defined in the Bid documents for new 48,639 square foot administration office building. Level one is 31,045 square feet and consists of the following: parking garage; pre-engineered metal building for additional covered parking; board room and community space; mechanical and electrical rooms and restrooms. Level two is 17,594 square feet for offices, restrooms, wellness space and break rooms.

Contract Documents will be made available on March 23, 2026 at the following locations: www.siaplanroom.com (SIA Plan Room at Abadan Plan Center) and https://plancenter.net/ (Spokane Regional Plan Center). Documents can be viewed and/or purchased online. The Planholders List is also available on this website. All addenda will be issued through the plan centers. Bidders can register online to be placed on the Planholders List and to receive automatic e-mail notification of addenda. Abadan Reprographics & Imaging, 603 East Second Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202 (Phone: 509-747-2964) should be contacted with website and plan ordering questions. Questions during the bid period will be received up to April 2, 2026, 5:00 pm. Questions shall be emailed to Bouten Construction Company, Jeff Erlenmeyer jeffreye@boutenconstruction.com.

A subcontract according to the Bid Package documents, including General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Addenda (if applicable), shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid over $300,000 must be accompanied by a cashier’s check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for each bid schedules (including sales tax). All subcontractors shall provide separate payment and performance bonds by a qualified surety company acceptable to the GC/CM, each for 100% of the contract sum including all change orders and alternates, when the bid amount is equal to or greater than $300,000. The cost of the payment and performance bonds must be included in their bid amount. If the subcontractor is unable to supply separate payment and performance bonds, the GC/CM may reject their bid and elect to use the next responsible bidder. Liability insurance in accordance with the Bid Package documents will be required for the subcontract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law.

The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Bid Package documents, including Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. The subcontract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.

Pre Bid Meeting Details:

A Pre-Bid Conference, followed by a site walk, will be held at the Spokane International Airport Event Center (located at 9211 W. McFarlane Road, Spokane, Washington 99224) on March 31, at 2:00 PM. The Pre-Bid Conference will be hosted as in person only. It is MANDATORY for bidders to be in attendance in person. Any bid submitted by a firm which did not attend this Pre-Bid Conference will be rejected.
