Contract description:

The project includes the following work-

The project includes construction of a student lounge, workspaces, a conference room, and improvement of a food pantry within an existing building on the UW Bothell Campus at 18325 Campus NE, Bothell, WA 98011. The student lounge, office, restrooms, and conference room comprise 7,639 square feet on the first floor of Library 2 (LB2). The food pantry including storage, office, and customer space is 1,683 square feet on the lower floor.

Scope of Work:

The scope includes selective demolition of interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and communications systems; and construction of restrooms, interior partitions; a new entrance; a roll-up coiling door at Bookstore Tenant Improvement space, storefront and curtainwall systems; mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and communications systems; doors, access control, acoustic openings, and interior finishes.

The new entrance on the first floor includes selective demolition of a structural concrete slab on grade and construction of a concrete ramp on grade.

The project area will be vacant while adjacent spaces in the building remain in use. An access plan will need to be coordinated with UW PDG and UW Bothell personnel.

The Project site was available for inspection by prospective bidders at a pre-bid site meeting and walk-through on February 12, 2026 at 2:00pm – 3:30pm at UW Bothell Campus, LB2 Building, Main Entrance. Access to the project site is restricted. This was the only opportunity for bidders to visit the Project site.
