University of Washington, Project Delivery Group, is requesting bids for
208562 Central Chilled Water (CCW) SW-1 to SC-7 Tunnel Piping Extension
A/E Estimate: $5,100,000
Bid Due Date/Time: February 25, 2026 no later than 3:00 p.m. PT
Project Description: The project includes the following work: Extension of utilities within existing University utility tunnel network between vaults SW-1 and SC-7. Utilities to be extended include campus cooling water, high pressure steam and condensate, pumped condensate, and compressed air. New utilities create an additional redundant path for service through this region of campus and otherwise do not connect to new buildings or loads.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Meeting: The Project site is available for inspection by prospective bidders at a mandatory pre-bid site meeting and walk-through. All prospective bidders must attend one of the following meetings:
- 1:00 PM on February 6, 2026 at the west entrance to the Ocean Sciences Building at 1492 Boat Street on the UW Seattle Campus
- 1:00 PM on February 10, 2026 at the west entrance to the Ocean Sciences Building at 1492 Boat Street on the UW Seattle Campus.
The Ocean Sciences building is about 80 yards east of the intersection of 15th Avenue NE and NE Boat Street, roughly adjacent to the Boat Street Marina.
These will be the only opportunities for bidders to visit the Project site. Bids received from bidders who did not attend one of the mandatory pre-bid site meetings will not be considered.
