Contract description:
The project includes the following work: Renovation of the South Campus Parking Garage (located between the UW Medical Center and the UW South Campus Center), which is approximately 275,000 SF in area spread across three levels. The scope includes waterproofing and joint repair, concrete crack and spall repair, installation of traffic coatings and selected re-striping.
In addition, this will be an occupied parking garage through the course of construction, and therefore there are specific phased work requirements, as noted in the bid documents. There are four alternate scopes, which include: Stair railing and handrail upgrades, Stair landing pedestrian traffic coating, Level S2 – Covered Area CIT with Restriping, and Level S1 Planter install resin-based waterproofing.
